The Location and Nearby Experiences
Devil’s Thumb Ranch is located in Tabernash, Colorado (close by the famed Winter Park and Telluride ski resort towns) and provides a memorable experience, to say the least. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the wilderness, the views are all panoramic and the venues on-site all pristine.
While there is plenty to do within the ranch itself, there are a myriad of things for you and your guests to experience outside the walls as well.
On-Site Activities:
- The Spa:
Enjoy disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with the healing touch of nature that surrounds this magical place. This unique spa is an 18,000 square foot hand-hewn log spa nestled in the meadow and overlooking the ranch’s inspiring views. Enjoy a pampering massage or a rejuvenating facial and skin treatment with all organic products.
The spa offers ‘Wellness Wednesdays’ if you and your guests will be there on that day and this includes workshops, meditations, yoga, and hot tub sessions.
- Dining at Devil’s Thumb Ranch
Choose from four different dining experiences within the property grounds:
- Heck’s Tavern (Guests Only)
You’ll be treated to a ranch-to-table style meal here from the property’s own natural lands. Favorites include the wagyu steak and eggs, vegan sweet potato bowl, and complimentary s’mores at the outdoor fire-pit each evening.
- Ranch House Restaurant (Open With Reservations)
This restaurant is located in the original home that was built on the ranch in the 1930’s and its walls hold stories as good as the food. Dubbed “American Mountain cuisine”, you’ll also receive ranch-to-table style meals, with food always sourced locally.
- Hallowed Grounds Coffee Shop
Coffee, breakfast pastries, bread, juice, beer, and wine, plus a daily selection of sandwiches. Enough said.
- Private Dining Experiences
Contact the property for special events, whether it be a birthday, engagement, or a party.
- The Pool & Hot Tub
- Live Music

CAPTURING THE MAGIC OF YOUR SPECIAL DAY IN A WAY THAT IS AS UNIQUE AS YOUR LOVE STORY
I have been photographing weddings in Colorado for years and excel at telling love stories through my camera lens. I guide you from conception up until the end, and always make it a point to have fun while doing so.
It is a beautiful thing to be able to capture the deep connection between two humans through photography and videography. Preserving the memories we make means we get to stop time and hold on to these moments for this lifetime and beyond. This is one of the greatest gifts we have to look back on as we grow older.
To check out my work, please visit me here and if you’re ready to capture this special experience, get in contact with me here today. I look forward to meeting you and helping you carry on your love story – your way.
